I’m the CEO and Chairman of Second Front Systems, where we’re on a mission to get the best technology into the hands of the U.S. and her allies—fast enough to secure a lasting advantage for the world’s democracies.
I also host All Quiet on the Second Front, a podcast about defense tech, national security, and government markets—told honestly, without the buzzwords, and with just enough irreverence to keep things interesting. Before Second Front, I led national security at CalypsoAI (acquired by F5) and founded the tech consultancy Future Tense, which I later exited. The common thread has always been the same: turning good ideas into deployed capability.
Outside the day job, I support the veteran community as a member of the Board of Directors at the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, defense innovation ecosystem as a Partner at the Silicon Valley Defense Group (SVDG) and mentor veterans find their footing in tech and entrepreneurship through organizations like Black Flag.
I started my career as a U.S. Army officer after graduating from West Point, serving a couple of tours in eastern Afghanistan. It’s still where I learned what real accountability looks like and why outcomes matter more than process.
I can also be found on LinkedIn, The Marque and X/Twitter. You can listen to All Quiet on the Second Front through our website, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts or your favorite platform.
